Are you upgrading to Windows 11?

Windows 11 is quite decent now

My computer is really forcing me to upgrade to Windows 11. I don't want to. Windows 10 is good enough for me.
I switched to Linux mint.

It acts very very similar to a win 7 layout.

I have one windows 11 machine for a single windows only program I have.

Haven't touch it in months though. Everyday computer crap mint is less hassle.

I own an older gaming Asus laptop and I cannot install Win 11 on it.
I wouldn't upgrade anyway.

I use Win 10, Win 11 and Ubuntu at work.
There are ways to make 11 look like 10.
I don't know what the big deal is.

just bought a used laptop from re-pc (local reseller) and it has windows 11, seems ok.

I think Windows XP let me reliably edit the metadata in mp3 files, but Windows 10 acts like I can edit it, then the edits don't stick. It's like I have to delete the existing fields then exit, then come back and edit the fields I want. Lame. Not progress.

This. I was hesitant until I tried it on my HTPC, fully expecting to scrap it and put Windows 10 back on.

- Donotspy11 to disable all the spyware and crap.
- CCleaner to clear out all the caches, clean up the registry and remove things hidden in startup and scheduled tasks etc.
- FxSound to change around the default sound settings.
- Obviously Firefox with adblockers and dark reader.
- A good VPN (ExpressVPN)

It's pretty good, I even chucked it on the gaming PC as well.

It's really not, if you are willing to spend a couple of hours setting it up properly.
It is!
I had it on my work PC for a year. It runs marginally slower than Win10, and the settings menu got worse. They didn't get rid of the control panel but hid old setting menus deeper in the new interface. Simple stuff requires more and more clicks, it is infuriating.
Only way I am using Win11 is I get it free with a new laptop.

Also, every system requires some time setting it up. Except maybe MacOS, because it won't let you change much more than your desktop wallpaper.
