I like booze, mostly liquor. I don't drink much and don't end up drunk. But I like the taste and the sensation. I love how a good drink goes with a cigar, too.

I smoked one cigar since I had my last drink. What am I going to drink, a water? Eh. All my booze and all my cigars are just sitting in stasis. 200+ cubans .....

Try coffee or cocoa with cream. Fats in the cream will open up the taste of tobacco and sweetness of cocoa can go well with it too. Good tea with rich taste can do the trick too, just gotta pick the one that won't antagonize the cigar taste.
What cigars have you got? My favorites from Cuba before the communists went bonkers with the prices were Cohiba Esplendidos and Bolivars. Now I smoke Dominican and Nicaraguan cigars mostly.

I have cohibas, upmanns, Romeo and Julieta, Montecristo, and gloria cubano. I had a good European source for them years ago, prices were reasonable. I had to do my research and run all the numbers through the gov ran site. I maintain humidity and inspect them on occasion even though I haven't smoked in years. Lucky to have had a great local Dominican roller too.
I don't remember trying coffee and a smoke. I used to drink my bourbon/scotch/whiskey de jour and walk my dogs down the creek a lot. I have those tastes and experiences pretty tired together

Prices spiked after Covid pandemic. Last time I was in Cuba in September 2024 they wanted $120 for one Cohiba Esplendido in an official store. That was not reasonable at all.

Yeah, work has been kicking my ass... have been super busy, stressed and drinking more than usual, which sucks as I had been cutting back through most of the year

I agree I get hungover after 4 drinks now lol. a hang over of 10 drinks might be 2 days long. I was also sick of damaging my organs and not being productive the next two days.
