Some liberals act like most of the War Room is Christians. There's way more atheists or people that aren't Christians in this forum. Maybe it's because we do such a good job laying out our arguments? And liberals feel like they are outnumbered.

It's not unheard of for children of religion to have long term psychological baggage once they leave the faith. Fear of death and hell is a powerful motivator, which is why religious people love to proselytize to children. (There are some good examples of this in Richard Dawkins Book: The God Delusion)

This is one of the many reasons I miss the wit and wisdom of Carl Sagan. I remember his quotes whenever I see the guy holding up signs telling me I'm going to hell. Or when one of the faithful knock on my door telling me the errors of my ways. Of course they have no actual evidence of their supernatural claims, just the ramblings of ancient books. I suppose this is why faith (the belief in something without evidence) is so important to all religions.
