Are You Paying $75 For Henry Cejudo?

Idiot should've kept fighting and built a solid relationship with the boss before pulling this kind of stunt.

Again like a few fighters. It’s her ego. I think it is one of the biggest in the UFC. She has lost twice to Amanda, but refuses to even admit it. They literally created a new division for her. And her best wins are literally a cpl of ex-SW Champs. Considering she’s an ex-BW. I don’t see it as a massive accomplishment. It’s her attitude. It’s just blown out of control. And I just can’t handle listening to her. She’s obviously one of the best ever. But when you look at her opposition at 125.. It’s just ridiculous.

If she fought all the time at BW, I believe I’d have a much higher opinion of her personally.

Maybe I’m just a dink? But I don’t like her at all.

edit.. Oh yeah, and unless she totally outclasses her opponent. She is mostly a pretty boring point fighter.
Her title fight vs Amanda was literally split down the middle. Media outlets had 10 for Amanda, 10 for Val & 2 a draw. Any fighter who loses a split decision is going to think they won. Her best win would now be Pena who finished Amanda to become the BW champion. Counting her as a BW fighting SW's isn't fair unless you are going to apply the same criteria to Amanda. She is a FW who's best wins are against FlyW's in Bullet and Meisha (now a FlyW).

They created FlyW for Val? I don't know about that. She just happened to be the best out of that smaller talent pool. The UFC didn't create FW for Amanda but they sure as hell kept it for her. They literally list her as champion and have no fighters listed in the top 10. That's because their own website lists 5 fighters as FWs but Holly, Ladd, Dumont, Letson have all fought as BWs and Danyelle Wolf has 1 MMA fight in her career. So how is Amanda actually a champion?

I think you are letting your bias against Val taint your assessment of her as a fighter. That's OK because this is Sherdog so it happens.

i'd pay $75

IF the card looked like this:

Jones vs Ngannou
Usman vs Khamzat
Cejudo vs Ortega/Holloway for #1 contender.

I'd much rather pay $75 to watch Cejudo in a big fight than for the majority of the UFC's current "stars", including most of their champs, to be honest.

I think he has a massive ego and right now is the biggest diva on the active roster. Big muscles don’t impress me. He’s honestly nothing but a one trick pony with his power. He has zero personality. Completely inactive, while complaining about being poor.

Yeah that pretty much covers it.

Ego is the short answer. Entitlement and absolute refusal to own their losses. It just turns me off.

I mean.... You mention Valentina is a boring point fighter at times as a reason for disliking her yet hate Francis when he's the total opposite? You dislike Val because she's fighting for points yet pray Ciryl outpoints Ngannou? You mention total refusal of their losses but forget how Francis still to this day owns up to his loss against Stipe and how that changed him?

For what it's worth, i agree about Conor. Your reasoning behind the other ones are interesting to say the least.

I've tried for about 3 minutes to come up with something Conor, Shevchenko and Ngannou have in common. It's amazing, you picked 3 MMA fighters representing totally different backgrounds, personalities, styles, levels of experience. It's impressive
Weirdest line up ever.

I'm not paying $75 for any one fighter, but I would be excited for Cejudo vs Volk if that is the question.

OK, I'll do it! Calm down, man!

Nobody cares about Cejudo. His division has moved on and has intriguing storylines without him. And he retired as champ out of the blue so I’m sure Dana will never take him back.

If Conor, khabib, Adesanya and Jones are on the same card, then Yes.

But i won't pay a cent for a Cejuda main event.
