Cejudo retired, then instantly started calling out top opponents for elite fights, and hasn't been given a single one.

What is he, Leona Lewis? Are we pretending that if he doesn't fight, his stock rises, he becomes a much-sought after diva? Does he get six dressing rooms and limited media time?

Are people really going to pay $75 to watch Cejudo fight someone on a PPV because he pretended to retire?

I'm not really sure this ploy is working, or interesting. He's giving off nothing but Dillon Danis vibes IMHO.

After seeing the other thread(s) on the PPV price going up to $75, it doesn't look like many sherdoggers are going to pay that much...for any fight. the whole event better be blockbuster fights for someone to hand over $75, and the UFC just can't put that many good fights in one event anymore. So no, not for Cejudo, but that's also a no for any one singular fighter, or even one big fight.

No. Rin Nakai was so obviously smaller than every girl in that division that it wasn’t even funny. Shevchenko is no where near that tiny. Nobody is ever changing my opinion on this.

This size difference is just a bullshit excuse used by Shevchenko huggers to excuse her losses to Amanda. She was big enough to beat Holly who fought at 145. But so small that Nunes had this amazing advantage.
 
Sure, I will pay.
But I need 4 other good non Wmma fights on the card. And a better headliner than Henry. He can start the card off or something.

Just stating my thoughts.
I have read enough from you to know you're set in your ways and have your own opinions.

Nakai is a terrible example tbf, I mean she wasn't all that good.
I don't make excuses for anyone, but I do however speak my mind in a similar fashion to yourself (maybe with a touch more tact).

I feel you citing ego as a reason to dislike someone that fights for a living a tad bit weird is all.
You don't see Amanda as an ego maniac like the rest of them sir?
Did she not turn into a point fighter against GDR?

I'd pay to watch Cejudo fight. Kid always brings it and makes for exciting matchups. How quickly some of you forgot the Marlon fight. One of the best adjustments and displays of heart in MMA history.
 
I'll pay just to spite people who are being jerks about it ..and it'll be the first one I've paid for in years

The PPV model the UFC still employs is very 1990s. Yet, instead of trying to make their sport more mainstream and easily accessible, Dana and company are doubling down on it. Anyone want to buy a 70-dollar PPV to watch baseball? Football? In this area, Dana is very backwards-thinking.

Cejudo vs Volk is legit a great matchup but it dosent make that much sense

Cejudo vs Aldo for the BW titleshot is an intriguing legend matchup that make alot of sense
