Are you in shape for your age ?

I haven't been sporty in quite a few years so probably not, no.

45 and in the best shape of my life.

Boxed competitively from 30-36 years old. Dedicated gym routine for the past 14 years and strict macro tracking for the past 4 years.

Being in shape is important … it can impact your lifestyle all your life … and even can make simple task quite difficult if you’re not healthy enough.

Pretty good for my age, not as muscular as I was a few years ago, mostly due to some injuries so I couldn't work out as much or play more sports. The six pack is down to a 4 pack now, but definitely in better shape than most people in their late 30s. Watching my diet and walking a lot everyday really help. Of course, since I'm still an active Sherdogger, I can still bench teh 275.

41 years old.
Heard some say I look early 30s.
Feel the same as my early 20s.

6'0.
195 pounds.
Drink a gallon of water a day & two high-protein meals.
Doing hard workouts with kettlebells three times a week.
Going to be doing a 10K Swings Challenge in February.

Yes I am even more fit than a 30 year old on my crew who has a beer belly. I had to completely change my diet after a broken clavicle I only weight between 170-175 lbs.

I put a shirt on this morning before going out to lunch which when I bought it a couple of years ago was really baggy and now fits me so I'm quitting all the cream, cheese and butter next week, I've become obsessed with classic French cooking which needs knocking on the head till I'm in Vegas in April.

I could diet and lose some weight, performance wise, not as sprightly as before but I could keep up with guys 20 years younger than me. 2 workouts, 1 run, 1 bike ride every week.

...but that's all the good stuff :(

Vegas is a worthy goal. It will incur damage though <lol>

38, 270lbs, 6ft3.

I'm strongest that I've ever been, and I still do some cardio, but my flexibility is horrible, my movement is poor and I've racked up injuries over the last year. I'm worried about it, honestly.

I'm trying to make changes. Eating less from the coffee shop at work, trying to cut back on fast food, no crisps and fizzy drinks. I didn't drink much alcohol before, but I don't react well to even a pint, so that's gone too. Also trying not to eat too late at night. I don't think it's enough though.

Lifestyle is pretty important. I live in cramped accomodation so I can't do anything at home, and I can only go to the gym a few times a week and those times come with long breaks.

I'm moving soon, buying my first property, with a spare room and a spacious living room. I'm going to bring in either an exercise bike, a rowing machine or a punch bag. I'd like to workout after I eat. I also intend to trade in the gym for swimming. I'm going to quit training for strength soon.

I also think that physical movement is a skill in itself, a skill that can be lost and needs to be retrained. Most people don't vault over things or even sprint daily. They just go to work, go home and rest, that's it. Even things like squatting are lost because people bend over instead.

I don't get the video btw. Anyone can fall over and trip on sofas.

Nearly 49, no injuries, train 4-5 days a week good muscle mass body fat is low, cardio is good and I can still touch the ground with both my palms flat, thankfully I've never really had any major injuries that have affected me.
