Chippewa Falls (WQOW)- If you're having a hard time figuring out where to dispose your medical sharps, you're not the only one.

Kelly Kranz a Chippewa Falls resident reached out to News 18 after going on a wild goose chase trying to find a place to dispose of his expired EpiPens.

Kranz said he went to the Chippewa Falls Police Department, St. Joseph's lab, and Walgreens just to name a few. None of those locations took his EpiPen.

News 18 also reached out to the Eau Claire Public Health Department, Walgreens, Mayo Clinic, and finally got an answer with a list of places you can go to dispose your EpiPens from HSHS Sacred Heart.

Some of those places include the Eau Claire Pharmacy, Group Health Riverview, and Value Center.

"It would be nice if the agencies that we depend on for these kinds of answers had better answers for the public, " said Kranz.

I thought he did that on purpose for the sake of the thread.

If it's a rhetorical question, it doesn't necessarily require a question mark.

Any plastic container that is not see through with a cap should work fine. Then dump it in the trash

This thread needs more question?

I think you mean desposing, not exposing. Why will you expose them?

Needy millenials, crying about needing a disposal center.

Why can't they just throw their used needles in the sandbox at the local playground like everyone else?

This thread confused the hell outta me. I figure tho that people are thinking of their junk after reading “exposing” and “medical”, so I’m curious if anyone else has a hydrocele? I haven't sought professional help because mines is relatively small and I like asking women to squish around my water/pus filled sack.

Anyway.

It doesn’t hurt but I have drunkenly thought to drain it with a needle, or aspire it. Was just curious if anyone has had similiar experiences.

It was the title of an article on a tv station website. It was about disposing but the title posted was exposing. Also in the article, they say that the person trying to find a place to dispose of epi pens "reached out" to the television station. Should never "reach out" with needles in your hand.

Kind of amazing that people aren't taught how to dispose of them when they are prescribed
