You’re my man <3 you’ll enter me whenever you want

Intel is better for gaming. The end.
Who bothers building a computer for workstation tasks? If you're a graphic designer who needs AMD's multi-threading maybe, that's about it. It's a normie processor for people who use on-board graphics (lmao)
Running a Cray computer seems a bit expensivefuck intel, i'll support the first 64bit cpu producer til i die. I aint ever spending a dime on intel cpus
Okay, so here are the things we know:
- Rick uses a 128-bit AMD CPU — the QX3700+ (@7.99hz). Many have speculated the Q stands for quantum computing, but we’re yet to confirm it.
- The PC has what appears to be a 393,912.1 GB SSD NVME M.2 drive. That’s nearly 400 TB of space.
- It also seems to have 3,584,825,480 GB of RAM — overkill if you ask me.
- The system runs a Linux distribution, developed by Debian.
I’d be curious to find out on which side you Mayberrians align yourselves. Let hear it!
@Dragonlordxxxxx please make a poll?!
Indeed. There's obviously quite a few in here who haven't heard of the R5-3600 or R7-3700X.Lots of outdated opinions ITT.
Rick thinks Intel users are plebs.
We finally know where Rick (from Rick and Morty) stands on the Intel vs AMD debate

Not really. look into it. What you think I imagined it?Sounds suspect. 5ghz stable on a 2500k would need some super srs cooling if you are running games etc. What vcore was is running at?
I Know the chip. Pushing it to 5 is certainly doable but keeping it stable under load for long periods is something else entirely than running prime for 30 mins. 4.6 to 4.8 range was usually used so you didn't have to use closed loop wc and even with that 5 is a stretch for long sessions with max load. Not really. look into it. What you think I imagined it?
5ghz is nothing crazy on a 2500k. You'd have to be really lucky to get one to push much further, but 5 all day for years and years. I'm telling you, that chip is legendary.
I just built a new box and my friend was trying to push the new AMD Ryzen on me HARD, to the point where he was straight up lying about a bunch of shit.
First off there's a requirement for onboard active cooling. He says there isn't, but I saw the damn fans myself they're built into the boards.
Second, decreased performance at higher temps. "You'll barely ever encounter this!" Actually it is something you're going to encounter realistically on a daily basis. I'd rather have my Intel crash at 100c rather than have a slow as shit game at 80c and THEN crash at 100c.
Third, "IT RUNS BETTER ON COUNTER STRIKE". Wow. Really breaking the boundaries of new technology there. Even if it does run better on that one game, all you're doing at that point is getting a higher number and equivalent visual performance to the eye.
Fourth, they talk up that shitty stock cooler like its such a money saver, but if you do OC (which has limited gains btw) it basically becomes worthless.
Don't get me wrong my intels have always had their problems, but literal LIES haven't been one of them.

Intel dominated market since I remember. Not the cheapest mind, but in general more advanced.
My Ryzen 2700 has had zero problems with high temps whatsoever. I've never even seen it reach above 65 under heavy gaming load.
The Wraith Spire Cooler was dogshit though. Great temps, but loud as hell. Got a Scythe one and it's silent.

There’s 2 different Prisms. You want the early ones, the newer ones that come with the 3000 series are louder but they perform the same.lolz
the prism seems to truly be a lot better than the spire. fwiw, if anything at all...
lolz

The Prism held my 3700x to 78 degrees at 4.2 but it was loud AF.
You have to remember when talking 3000 series they measure temps from a different location.
It’s still more than adequate cooling wise. The new ones aren’t insanely loud, about like a blower gpu but not as high of a whine.oh, that sucks. i thought they were the same as the 2000 series prisms.
