This is a subject that seems to have a lot of different opinions, but I personally don't have any problem with it.

What are your thoughts?

im all for violence and big kos but this takes no skill and is disgusting

Protect yourself at all times. Also...

No. At this point in MMA we see them so much. Have we seen even one injury stemmed from them? It all comes down to how they look when thrown, similar to the 12-6 elbow. I've always been pro-Rogan but he's gotta give it a rest with this. What was the point in calling in Ratner about a completely legal technique just to drive across the point that they're both in agreement that it's "horrible".

Faber needs to land a good one against Dom and it's all over for him.

No. I want to see the most damaging and devastating moves, except for my favorite fighters that's when they should be banned. And yes only my favorites count and not yours.

I agree 100%.

Very rarely does an athlete recover from ligament damage. They are usually someway off of what they were prior to the injury.

I had no idea they were banned in Cali

On one hand, it does seem dirty to attack with a move that if successful will cause an injury rather than just hurt

But on the other, they are locked in a cage attempting to render the other unconscious with their fists, shins, knees, and elbows while also looking for an opportunity to break a bone or dislocate a joint; but attacking a person in this one fashion is what's too far and unsporting?

Ban them, every time I see somebody throw one, I think what a bitch move.

Exactly

I dont like seeing those kicks but love seeing palhares with his leglocks because it takes actual skill.

No. Joe's argument was stupid as well.

"They can tear up your knee, but you can't tap to them."

By that logic we should ban flying knees and headkicks as well.

Definitely against it.

It's a move intended to cause permanent damage. I don't care if no ones been crippled by it yet. It's dirty as hell.
