"Rageaholic" is defined as a person who gets excited by expressing rage, or a person prone to extreme anger with little or no provocation.

I self-diagnosed myself as being prone to rage in a past relationship. My ex was extremely passive aggressive and would do little things to obstruct progress and positive change in the relationship. She was happy, and wanted to settle, so she would subtly sabotage my efforts instead of clearly communicating her thoughts and concerns.

This would send me into fits of rage. I didn't like the person I was becoming, but at the time I didn't know why this kept happening. Eventually I had to get out of the relationship, because she would interpret my outbursts as a sign that I cared and would become more enamored; creating a vicious cycle that intensified my anger.

How many Sherdoggers are self-proclaimed rageaholics? Any stories or insights?

Am I talking to you pinhead.

Jake, I wasted too many years in a similar situation. I've been able to control my rage as an adult, but habitual button pushers are challenging. Your awareness of it is a great tool.

I saw an interview with Bob Ross; he said he used to be angry and yell a lot. One day he said, no more yelling, and that was it. Bob fucking Ross

I can't decide if I'm a rageaholic or just have a low tolerance for bullshit.
Or possibly my PTSD.
Whatever.

If I need to be, contrary to popular belief violence does solve some problems.

Yeah. Most of the time and it's fine, but occasionally someone pushes the right buttons on the wrong day and I lose it. Still on thin ice at one of my jobs for telling a dude I would beat the shit out of him, if he didn't shut his fucking mouth and get out.

Literally the only time I rage is in traffic. Miami drivers are the WOAT

I don't rage but I get moody af and super bitchy sometimes. I'll scream in the car or in private if need be but I can hold it together really well though when others would just lose it.
