Elections Are we close to an uprising?

No thankfully we’re not even close to an uprising. At this point we still have laws and some form of checks and balances. As long as those hold we shouldn’t have to worry about any revolt. The administration is without a doubt trying to consolidate unprecedented executive powers. I wouldn’t want this administration to have any justification to perpetrate violence against Americans.

Real story. I have NEVER asked for assistance in food, money, or healthcare. I'm 52. I could not drink water. I puked it straight up. I tried and tried.

I just got a piece of chicken caught in my throat a month or so ago. It would not go down. Had to go to the ER. The Nags Head Hospital is shit. It's nothing more than a triage. I got a great ambulance ride to Virginia Beach. Along the way, dude popped me with good morphine. It hits you in the back of the neck.

I applied for assistance, and got taken care of. $14,557.77.

First time I have ever asked. My family has never asked. I've paid into it all my life. It was nice to get taken care of.

I know the area. Used to live in Hampton, learned to lay brick in Norfolk (Mason's Assistant but the Foreman saw fit to pay me as a day laborer). The homies and I would drive to VA Beach and blow our money on the weekends. Good times, until I blew my car engine. Virginia was a huge source of misery aside from the friends I made. Busch Gardens Williamsburg was the best job I ever had there and it was seasonal.

Earlier I posted about Yarvin saying this Administration is already a failure and wanting to leave the US.

For once, I agree with him.

Project 2025 is what it is because the fascists know the public will HATE what they want to do. Its a bad attempt to cover all the bases at once. Chrstian Nationalism, Constitutional erosion, Neo Confederacy, just throwing spaghetti at the wall. It's been a comical failure so far, and this show of force on the Cities is incredibly limp-d*cked. True iron-fisted authoritarians would have dismantled Congress, ceased the Federal Court system, and held some public executions already. That's what Yarvin suggested. You dont make the machine go the way you want, you destroy the machine so you never lose control of it again.

It might get ugly the closer they get to the end, but there WILL be an end. All it's going to take is the first egregious act of either violence or intolerance. The first martyr perhaps. Or the outright rejection of election results they dislike. Theres a reason the media blacked out No Kings.

Also, even if citizens tried, if they didn't have the military's backing, they'd have no shot.

I think citizens have enough guns to prevent the government/military from trying anything nasty, but not enough to actually destroy the military.

how?? by arresting criminals?

they're doing stuff i definitely hate or question, such as tariffs, not enough gatekeeping of the radicals within them, having stake in private companies (like wtf is that), and empowering the police state that we should be against by cozying up to the tech bros like elon, thiel, but what else are they doing that you have an issue with because this just sounds like classic trump derangement.

for what it's worth i don't like or trust vance and guys like elon at all either.

Last time I killed....I was deer hunting.......I shot a 4 point buck. He ran off and sat down, knowing he was dying. I shot him in the chest a few more times.

I never said I was only talking about people here. Leave me out of your bitch fights with whoever you're having them with thanks, I'm under no obligation to defend others just because I happen to agree with them on some issues.

I'm sure the people you brought it up to isn't everyone right wing on the internet anyway not sure what your point is supposed to prove anyway.
