You said Japan has always been sex obsessed but from recent data that I've seen it seems like the promiscuous aspect is none existent since birth rates are down so much. Are you saying Japan is sex obsessed in terms of physical intimacy, or sex obesessed in terms of pornography?

In most of the world, whoring around freely is shunned upon and there will be a huge consequence doing this (pre-1960s West used to be like this). Girls are taught what honor, dignity and morality at young age which is why divorce and cheating are almost non-existent.

That's always a difficult one. On its face I would say yes, the men are to blame. But then you hear of the kind of shit that goes on in ghetto and white trash communities, where a woman will literally get slammed raw by anyone willing to pop a boner. At that point, how do you fully embrace responsibility when in the back of your mind you aren't even sure if you're the father? Hell the same dynamic is present in middle-upper class society, though likely to a much lesser degree

Overall tho, I'd argue that if you know that there's a chance you did actually impregnate the bitch (meaning, you did nut in her w/o contraceptives) then it's up to you to either prove you aren't the father or, absent that, then be a father. To simply half-ass it or dip altogether is weaksauce

tl/dr: if I had to choose one party to blame, I'd put it on the fathers

Yeah I suppose I wasn't really considering the whole fucked like 12 dudes last weekend thing. That makes it tricky.

I still think the problem of fatherlessness lies more in lack of sex-ed and low-cost/free birth control than a culture of people having sex for fun outside of marriage.

I believe abortion is legalized murder but if it were up to me I'd put a Planned Parenthood clinic within walking distance of every neighborhood in the US

i think both. Today they still are it is just with pornography, prostitutes, sex dolls and other not really intitimate things. and sex toys. Japan still use ton of porn and toys and dolls and prostitutes. The people just are not having sex with each other as much as they used to. it is weird

In my experience it's the slutty females who initiate. Guys usually have to work at least a little bit to get laid, while a decent looking girl can walk up to any random asshole at a bar at the end of the night and end up with a dick to hop on.

But then again I have never been interested in being a man whore or hooks ups so women are kinda forced to initiate with me so I may be biased. I'd honestly rather just go home and jerk off than fuck some random chick who I won't care about the next day. Just doesn't do anything for me and actually has made me feel kinda scummy the times I've let it happen.

I'm probably more pro than anti but I'm not strongly on either side of the abortion debate because I see both arguments.

But fucking birth control man, that shit should be everywhere. There are too many people already and poor kids go and pop out 3 kids before they are 21, how are they ever going to be able to better themselves economically?
