Are parents to be blamed for the hookup culture in the Western world?

Hookup cultures, fornication and sexualization of women are normalized and glorified to the extreme in the Western world. The mass media constantly push how "hooking up" is healthy and modern.


Why is it glorified and there are no punishments for it when parents knows their daughters become one of them? Why do parents let their daughters run rampant when it comes to whoring around and think they can get away with anything because there are no consequence?


Does it bother them when their daughters dress like a prostitute on Friday night, hooking up with strangers at the club and coming home at 3:00am after getting shagged then doing this on weekly basis while having multiple abortions or when they take pictures or record of their bodies for the world to see (pron, social media, model magazines etc)?


These young women are going to be mothers, loyal wives and good members of society.


In most of the world, whoring around freely is shunned upon and there will be a huge consequence doing this (pre-1960s West used to be like this). Girls are taught what honor, dignity and morality at young age which is why divorce and cheating are almost non-existent.

I don't think this culture is new. In other cultures married women will sleep with men who aren't their husband's because the other guy is known to have son's instead of daughters. That's kind of fucked up but it's normal.
