All the "manly" acting guys are usually insecure as hell.

Wtf do I care if someone wears earrings or nail polish.
Periodt! 💅🏻

All jokes aside Caleb Williams gets roasted for painting his nails and plays one of the hardest position in the NFL.

I get it’s a perception thing for a lot of dudes and not wanting to be viewed as weak. Also, think some get mad cause they can’t express themselves.

My first bjj instructor painted his nails black but no one ever talked crap lol

People have been complaining that “men aren’t men anymore” forever.

Men in the 1980s wore makeup and dressed as girls in front of sold out concerts with thousands of people. In the 70s they danced to disco in tight jeans or leather pants. Dudes in the 90s wore little jean shorts and fanny packs.

Men these days don’t do any of that.
100%

Just like "no one wants to work anymore" we have written examples of this shit going back to 1910, 1830, 1750, etc into the 1200s. We have sources from 300 bc complaining that the youth of that day scorn the manly activities of their fathers and grandfathers generation.

I don't think it's even up for debate.

The only ones saying no have to be extremely political.

People I know IRL who are very liberal say obviously young men today are less masculine on average, but they just don't see it as that bad or big of a deal.

Yeah “men aren’t men anymore” since the invention of the wheel

Yeah. Just the fact we have report buttons and actual criminal statutes for hurting people's feelings tells you a lot.

Pretty much every guy under 35 is less masculine than the gayest dude I went to high school with, so I say yes. But I'm a GenX asshole with joint pain, so maybe I'm just cranky.

Yea but we can test the levels of testosterone for the past few decades and there's been a drop that's backed up by hard data.

Look at graduating classes from the 70s and 80s. Some of those old generations look like Fred Flintstone like they're bout to hit 40 in their high school yearbook.

Most of the dudes who chest puff about being masculine are the same ones who always complaining about the modern world, men are not men anymore, women this women that etc. Total snowflakes.

And there is nothing less masculine than being a whiny bitch.

So I guess the answer is yes, but not in the way many people here think.

A few weeks ago my friend was “thanking god”about having AAA because he got a flat tire and would have been “absolutely fucked” without it…because he doesn’t know how to change to his spare. We all proceeded to call him a bundle of sticks many times over so I think hes been cured.

No, the qualifications just shift through time.

Now it’s masculine to give your buddy a brojob for instance.
