Opinion Are face masks going to make a comeback in 2025?

I think this time they're going to have to make a better case in order for people to follow their lead for any sort of recommendations that aren't extremely obvious

I personally never had a big problem with them during covid. I wasn't going to throw a fit over a simple mask whether it was 100% effective or not. But I know others feel differently.. plus there were other measures that ruined businesses and families.. people see it as a very slippery slope now because of what we just went through.

Nah, I won’t wear a mask or get vaccines. I don’t even get the flu vaccine. But then again, I’m healthy, eat clean, and work out daily unlike a lot of you fat mouth breathers…and the spaz on the first page with the novel post spazzing out lol.

this is a serious problem where i work. only me & one other operations manager are the only two people on the management team who actively support our employees using their sick days when necessary. two years ago i got in trouble when questioned about sending one of my employees home w/ a fever, told my ceo i was following the guidelines laid out in our employee handbook, then went back to my desk, printed out the pages i was referring to, highlighted the necessary lines, & left it on his desk w/o saying anything. he got pissed & sent me home for the day.
 
I doubt it. Americans have seem to have gotten better EVERYONE be wearing a mask whenever they go out? I lean towards no unless another global pandemic happens.
 
Only if my work requires them or go back home to see my mom.

I’ve been tempted to write nasty letters to employers but they’d probably take it out on the employee and fire them. And wearing a mask is not a fucking alternative to staying home unless you work in the basement and don’t come into contact with anyone I guess
 
Face masks were only a thing the first time around because Twitter was censoring the likes of Harvard Medical Professors from speaking out on it.

It would never work today.
 
The science showed they were largely ineffective. People wore them improperly, wore the wrong ones, and didn't change them out enough. It was a social experiment that caused more problems than they solved, especially with school kids. I will never wear one again, because I am not a lemming, and following the money, we should all be embarrassed. We were played and people got rich. By the way, I had that crazy virus last week. I stayed home until I felt better. I feel better now, all done. I wore a Mask, got the vaccine, and still got covid 3x and am dealing with issues from the vaccine including hearing loss. Never again. If you are sick, stay the fuck home, end of story.
