When I call on my malamute to do something she ignores me until I give up and walk away, then she gets up.

Yes the Northern sled and pack dogs will kill small dogs without provocation other than being there.

The Inuit immediately kill any dog that shows aggression to people ... we need more Inuit sometimes.
 
A mailman used his malamute to run next to him when a German shepherd lashed out on his leg and dragged him to the ground.

He simply wrote: RIP German Shepherd dog.

So pretty territorial.

when a rottweiler bit right through my mothers hand (she blocked our dog). the owner tackled his dog to the ground.

But he was left screaming for help himself lying down on the ground because he feared he cant get up now. Our dog was standing over them, teeth out.

My mother was screaming in agony and chock from the bite which went right through her thumb. and was just standing there in chock.



A dude who knows us eventually walked by and took our dog away. pure coincidence he was walking by.

Very true. I live in rural Alaska half the year, so I see plenty of working Husky and Mals, and quite a few wolf-hybrids. I always feel terrible when back in the city and you see one chained to a porch, or I even saw someone with one in a giant stroller. A friend who works at a shelter told us they are one of the most common dogs to be returned, because they have to much energy. It's sad that they can make such great dogs when given the proper environment.

Mine gets really bored mentally. She has to watch tv or sit on a bench watching People.

I have a balcony but she can't see down

We took a DNA sample on her

I looked at the cranium from the back and told My mother I bet there's Rottweiler in her. Shes also too macho. Malamutes are more low key

She was SOLD as an Alaskan Malamute...IMG_20250427_205600_197_LL.jpg

Result: 50% Malamute, 30% RottweillerIMG_20250427_205640_434_LL.jpgThe rest husky and Golden retriever
