I turned on so many people to that particular podcast, Dan is just a magnificent storyteller, makes you feel you're right there in history.

His Apache Tears is effen good too, and Ghosts of the Osfront is awesome as well.

Mousasi was born in Iran but from Armenian heritage, Reza mahadi is from Iran, I think Mr Finland is from Iraq or Syria.. And Beneil Dariush was born in Iran but I believe is Assryian (my uncle is friends with his family, dated his sister, Beneil don't beat me up)


I am surprised there is not more Persian mma fighters, some of the best wrestlers in the world are from Iran.. Wrestling is literally our national sport.. However my people are busy being rich and mma isn't known to be money producing unless you're the top 3

He has 2 on the American southwest, but Apache Tears is the best one of the two. His stories of Geronimo and the Apaches are incredible, literally brought up the hairs on the back of my neck.

Ghosts of the Osfront, was so eery in his descriptions between the Battle of Stalingrad and the subsequent invasion of the Red Army into Berlin. His descriptions of the killings and mass rapes of German women and girls by drunken Russian soldiers was unforgettable.

Also, go watch Jesus Camp. There's your Christian Radicals. The leader of the church camp says that we need to be programming our children to be more passionate/psycho about Christianity, than radical muslim kids are about islam.

yeah, I can definitely understand xenophobia when your quality of life has been diminished because of immigration. I'm glad in Brazil we don't have these problems, and when I see someone being a little extra salty against muslims, I try to imagine having to wear their shoes. But then I also try to imagine how horrible it must be to live with no home, no country, shit culture and having to endure massive prejudice and persecution from all sides, like many immigrants. spreading hate doesn't help anyone anyway.
