It's not even worth debating, BCS. He fails to realize that constant western involvement with their society and politics, and the political destabilization (for natural resources) within the last 100 years or so has created factions like the Islamic Brotherhood, Saddam, ISIS and the rest of that ilk.
 
Jarjis Danho is Assyrian (his parents are from Syria, if I'm not mistaken). There was mini-interview with him at bloodyelbow.com.

I'm Ojibwe....Native American....Christians tried very many years to EXTERMINATE the Native American. Had they succeeded, I wouldn't be here today. The UFC is a North American company. It has fighters mainly from the US And nearby countries. All foreigners have the disadvantage of jetlag, having to leave their family. Huge costs for training camp abroad, And most important, they Are more difficult to market. If the UFC wanted, they could have several middle-eastern fighters too. Many would probably be top guys.

What is shocking is that There Are so many top ten fighters from other countries. Should be none with all the disadvantages they have.

I probably should have said Middle Easterners, but yes, just all of that area.
