Build some context. Those professional fighters had deal with the other aspects of Mma. It's a lot easier to wear someone down and create a ko. Especially when they're beginning and ONLY boxing. It's easier to nullify strikes when you can take them down and you have the skill in mma. Unless ben plans to clinch and frustrate, I don't see him mounting enough of an offense to get anything off without getting countered.
You can get to people more often and faster with boxing gloves. Granted it makes it easier to defend shots. I don't think Ben has the reflexes or chin anymore to stand up. Robbie lawler cracked it and masvidal busted it open. We'll see though, maybe it could be a really good fight and a win win for everyone.
