Demetrious Johnson.

With UFC 197 coming up in two weeks, I think it's a good moment to show the 125lbs king our love and support.

I am proud to say I'm a supporter of the FLW division and a fan of Demetrious Johnson.

I believe when all is said and done, we will look back at DJ as a legend who built a division no one had belief in.

Fight by fight, the flyweight warriors will prove to the disbelievers that 125 is a weight division that has it's place in the UFC.

Pictures&Gifs to honor this cause.

To the champ, and P4P N.1, cheers and thank you for your sacrifices.

DJ for sure gets shit on, or more accurately his division does, but he is an amazing mixed martial artist. Incredible speed and skills.

There's always either an appreciation thread or a hate thread on this guy at any one time... No wonder he got the Xbox sponsorship - people say they don't watch his fights, but they don't stop talking about him either.

Personally I like the guy... And as a Brad Pickett die hard fan, that's a win I cherish!

Great thread TS. Unfortunately it, like MM will get very little love because UFC fans tend not to know what they are watching...

He's one of my favorite fighters. Really. Lightning fast, technical in damn near every aspect. What's not to like? Also, the competition in this class is amazing. It's just that MM is that good.

*Walks out thread*

DJ needs a Joe Frazier but no one at 125 is even close enough

It's not as bad a division as a lot of Sherdoggers make it out to be but "amazing" is quite a stretch

Mighty Mouse! one of my favs. The division is great and competitive whoever dislikes it is a dork. he deserves more attention but people like to fantasize about dream match ups with former pride fighters than watch what is in front of their eyes.

I appreciate DJ. Excellent fighter.

I too, admire his skills and abilities as an all around mixed martial artist. I think the common theme among the criticisms come from the "just bleed" fans who only appreciate the brutal side of the sport. From a purist point of view, it doesn't get much better than MM.

I can appreciate the skill level, but I don't get excited watching the little guys.
