Apparently Cain Velasquez is an absolute flop in Rasslin'

Such cringe. No personality at all and he doesn't have the look to gain any interest from casuals. Let Cain make upwards of a million bucks then send him off.

You have to hand it to Brock. He had the cross over appeal, and made millions and millions in WWE and UFC.. Cain really needs the 2nd career at this point. Not happening..

Back to AAA. He was better suited there anyways. Fans are less cunty as well. Or CMLL.

Brock's timing is impeccable. In the PG13 HDTV sterile world that is the nowadays WWE,Brock is a throwback to a former era,and thats why he basically can do whatever he wants. He is believable.

But also to the actual title. No I wouldnt say he was a complete flop. He didn't do was well as was hoped in WWE but they gave him shit creative in a company that is horrible about micromanaging everything that an athlete does. He was very entertaining when he was with AAA and well received by the fans. Just like how "styles make fights" the same goes for wrestlers. Good he got cash from vince, now is time to go back to Mexico and have fun.

With the charisma of a potato, I hope he makes money off his name alone. Because he has absolute zero personality...

It is like porno actors that try to act in a real movie, usually they are expressive like props.

Nobody watches pro-wrestling for amateur mat wrestling skills

I do, I'm sure I'm not the only one. I love watching amateur wrestling stuff incorporated into pro-wrestling, for a number of reasons. I mean, that's essentially what technical wrestling is, although of course you can have holds and escapes that fit into the logic of the match that might not be viable in real-life. But it always helps when those less viable holds are blended in with legit ones.

It sounds like they botched Cain though. They should have gone the Ken Shamrock route, incorporated stiff-looking, legit offense with explosive moves that took advantage of his athleticism. It seems like Cain wanted to learn too.

Nothing like watching a guy with a legit background being able to throw dudes about. Deadlift suplexes are great.

They didn't really botch Cain. He's a pudgy guy, who can't cut a promo, and they only brought him in for the Brock angle. Outside of that, I don't know what they're supposed to do with the guy. He's basically taking up a spot of another guy who is far more suited and experienced for pro-wrestling.

He's a bit like CM Punk in the UFC. Squeeze what you can out of his name, and then cut him when his brief moment of usefulness runs out.

The fact that they let go of Gallows, Anderson, Ryder, and Rowan is more shocking than them letting go of Velasquez...

It became clear pretty quick that they were just holding him hostage so AEW or AAA wouldn’t be able to sign him, just like they were doing to Rusev and The Revival.

But there were a lot of people, both backstage and on the roster, that were established and frequently used.

Gallows and Anderson just recently renewed their contracts, and were even in Wrestlemania, Sarah Logan was a potential Money in the Bank match candidate, and they had NXT guys that were just picked up only to be dropped before they could even wrestle a match.

Time for Lucha Cain to go somewhere else.

the sea can only carry a man for so long

It's funny, but ironically, his biggest fault to me is he doesn't look like a badass. He looks like every guy on the roster that is over 175 lbs. can kick his ass.

Fact that they even signed him, had him looking like he did and beating Brock tells you how out of touch WWE has become.

Those are the worst punches I have ever seen thrown in a wrestling match
