Yeah i think so far its a solid step up from that show. I also liked Mare though.

Seems a little more targeted for a male audience with biker gangs and robberies and stuff. Mare was a little woke with the female lead and the lesbians and what not.

Watched the pilot. It's got potential. My only real problem is that the director/writers were getting a little too on the nose with cinematic symbolism shit. Not sure how to explain it properly, but for instance, in one scene one of the main guys beats some joker up, and the very next scene cuts to a fly being zapped in a bug zapper. Get it? There's another similar sequence that I can't remember at the moment, that was equally as eye rolling.

That type of stuff worries me a bit, because I get a sense the writers are up their own asses and think that shit's clever and deep.

Just the pilot though, which are known to have some rough edges. Other than that fairly minor issue that only sticklers like me might notice, it was pretty good.

I think the whole thing is like 7 episodes so its more a limited series one and done than a whole series
