Yes, we use it for family trips if staying longer than a couple days. Much better than hotel with a family of 5.

Solo traveller so it's cheaper most of the time to just get a discounted hotel on Booking.com. I dont find Air BNB very cost effective for me, personally.

I think AirBnB is best for long term stays if ur solo imo otherwise it doesn't make much sense

I use AirBnB for lakeside cabin anniversary getaway just me and my wife to relax and chill. It's nice. Lake access 30 feet in front of the cabin, canoe/kayak/paddle boat docked, big backyard with fire pit. Can't get that in a hotel.

Only real cleanup is pulling blankets/sheets off the bed we used and/or throwing used towels in a washing machine and turning it on, and taking garbage with us since no garbage service at the cabins. Takes 5 minutes.

For visiting family or work trips I always use a hotel.

In Nordic countries they actually lock the fuckin hotels up at night and you gotta ring a bell for someone to let you in.
