Anyone think Conor should have pulled a Marshawn Lynch?

If you remember for the Super Bowl he didn't want to do media, so he showed up and answered every question with, " I'm only here so I won't get fined."

Bit late now.

But if they keep him off the card, I think he should book another arena near where UFC 200 is taking place on the same night and host his own "Conor McGregor and Friends" show with some other fighters and celebrities. If it sold out quicker than UFC 200, I'd laugh.

That's actually not a bad idea. If he did that, there would be a new storyline, and he wouldn't have to face the questions regarding his submission loss. He could just kind of brush it off like he didn't give a shit.

This exact thread was already done the other day.

But, yes, if Conor pulled a Lynch it would be hilarious.

Nah, it would make him look like a total bitch, like Nate really did steal his soul...

His issue was leaving Iceland where he was training from what I understand.

Yes, he should have showed up so we would still have the fight.

Conor pulling a Lynch would only hurt himself. Lynch doesn't need to convince anyone to watch, millions of people will be watching it for free on network tv regardless of whatever Lynch says or doesn't say and they'll still watch if Lynch doesn't even show up. Conor, on the other hand, needs to invoke enough passion in his fans that they will part with $60 to watch the event.
