Anyone take Xanax?

Yeah. I’m out now but I usually go through a 30 day script in a year. Ran out early this year but I’ll get more at my physical next month

I have probably 20 out of 30 .5mg tablets left in the house from a script I filled years ago. Xanax works decently as it was intended, pulse therapy (IE taking it when you are having extreme anxiety intermittently). Knowing it's in the house eases my anxiety a lot.

You sure you're not vax injured? Your symptoms appeared right after J&J, and nothing shows up on the classic tests which is very common for vaccine injuries. If that were me and the symptoms showed up right around that time... easy dots to connect imo.

There's this place:
https://www.reddit.com/r/vaccinelonghaulers/

You need an account to view it. Lots of symptoms you'd be familiar with.

Benzos are very dangerous taken long-term. I wouldn't bother taking them, they won't fix anything but could add problems.
You sound like Tom Cruise talking about Psychiatry. He was full of hubris as well. Some people with crippling anxiety need them long-term to function normally. Not taking them will leave them crippled. Would you tell a diabetic to stop taking insulin and just try to metabolize glucose better?

.5 mg is the smallest pill they have. You're fine.

If you ever find yourself needing to take two instead of 1, then you need to re-evaluate and ask yourself "Are you experiencing an anxiety attack? Or are you taking them to feel good"

I'm prescribed .5 mg per day for anxiety. It's so small that even if I take for a month straight I can stop and feel no withdrawal or anything.

How'd you feel when you took it? It helped I imagine.
Still taking it? I feel like I'm need an occasional something.

Still taking it?

Very rarely. I got more last year at my annual and I have probably taken 5 pills over that time and I'm due for another physical in September. Mostly just use it for acute anxiety largely brought on my drinking too much the night before which doesn't usually happen.

yea, more drugs cooked up at the pharmacuetical labs for disphits to get dependant on. people never cease to amaze me.

Still taking it?

About 13 years ago I developed severe GERD that mimicked heart and chest pain. After watching my Dad go through heart issues, and being in agony 24-7 with no relief, I developed severe General Anxiety. All day and night fight or flight, no relief. Doc gave me Xanax which got me through the day until I stabilized about 3 weeks later. Over the years I would need 1 for a flight, but they were the tool I needed at the time, and I would choose a gummy now as they aren't harmful.

I took a lot of Xanax in my teen years. But that shit will just make you zone out and time flies by so fast. And you might do things you wouldn't normally do. One time I went and threw like a half oz of weed in some bushes. Woke up the next day like wtf? Don't do drugs kids.

Xanax helps me sleep so I sometimes take it but I also prefer a mild indica. I found it crazy that you can easily get prescribed xanax but weed can get you arrested.

Using xanax for sleep regularly is dangerous imo. Leads to dependency and fucks up your natural melatonin levels. Indica is the way to go.

Unfortunately I'm in a country where weed is very strictly prohibited and too risky (and expensive as fuck) to get. I cut the xanax pills in half and only take them once a week at most because of the danger. I try not to take anything if I can help it but I usually cycle through melatonin, valerian root, magnesium, or mugwort as sleep aids. Don't want to get dependent on one thing.

You guys know way more about drugs than I ever will.

I don't but I do take Klonopin, which is very close to Xanax and has ~ the same addicting potential.

Do you have addictive tendencies? Btw it's normal to feel worried about it, but do what your doctor tells you. If you take it under the recommended dosage, you won't get addicted. Plus, generally treatment for panic attack with anti-anxiety meds is followed by antidepressants and sometimes anti-psychotics (which can be a full antipsychotic or work as an antidepressant 'booster'/add-up depending on the dose). Have you been prescribed other medications? Because generally medications like Xanax are kept for a limited time, more as an S.O.S while antidepressants/sometimes antipsychotics act long term, so the anti-anxiety meds can be taken off or have the dosages taken in a longer time gap when the panic attack, extreme anxiety are tackled in. Of course, generally # always... Each case is individual.

Btw it's always best to talk to your doctor and follow what they say... I can only share experiences but professionals firstly always.

Do you take any other medication that raise blood pressure? Like Adderall, Ritalin? Or do you have high blood pressure? It's many times (recent studies are showing it more often) tied to higher risk of visual issues too. I was prescribed Vyvanse and tbh even tho its effects help me, I definitely feel some bigger-than-normal eye strain... And my diopter has increased somewhat quickly in the relatively small time window I've been taking it (1 year so not so small)... But there are studies that suggest a potential correlation as well. Not that you take any of those meds, just asking.

Did this dork resurrect under a different name after getting banned yet AGAIN?

I’m on Ativan which is the sissy brother to Xanax I suppose. Feels nice. Pop some of that and I’ll be feelin smooootthhh
I've been prescribed both Atavan (15 yrs ago, one time deal) and Xanax about 2yrs ago (pack of 30 tablets, I think 2mg each).

Both times was legit genuine reason, no BS.
Took a while to finish the packet on both separate occasions.
