Anyone remember Human Weapon and Fight Quest?

Fight Quest was great.

My favourite one of these kind of shows was Last Man Standing.

They did a mix of combat sports and endurance events.

Bokh wrestling in Mongolia

Largest sporting tournament

Once had 6002 participants.

Beat that "March Madness"

Yep. Used to watch both.

There was an episode where they trained sambo with Fedor. Don't remember which show it was, though.

Loved Fight Quest, still rewatch them from time to time. Never liked Human Weapon, not a fan of the hosts and seemed to be too focused individual moves than getting immersed in the culture and martial art as a hole.

Human weapon was just bad..

Fight quest was very good

I don't think I've watched them since they originally aired.

I remember enjoying both, but the more I think about it, I do think I remember finding Fight Quest to be the more respectable of the two, mostly due to the hosts.

Yeah. Its important that the hosts on a show like that is likeable.

The two on fight quest was great. Both seem to be nice guys. They also had skills without being cocky. And they respected each other and the different arts.

Big nog was doing a very similar thing on Fight Pass

Found the ninjutsu episode of Human Weapon on YouTube last night and checked it out. Thought it might be goofy but it was actually kind of cool.

I watched both, both were good. I remember I think it was fight quest and the smaller guy was doing BJJ in Brazil and got choked out

Fun fact: Jason Chambers and Jimmy Smith actually fought. Smith won via heel hook.

No shit, well that's interesting. Why didn't you actually go into Judo?

Haha, good question. There was a segment in the Judo episode where the objective was to escape side control/scarf hold. The Judoka who had side control was smaller than Jason and obviously way smaller than Bill. The smaller dude's control was so good that Jason and Bill couldn't escape. They were pinned down and flailing like babies. At the time, I had no idea that a smaller man could control a bigger man like that on the ground. I was so fascinated by this and I knew that BJJ specializes in groundwork way more than Judo and that's why I decided to go with BJJ instead of Judo.

Yet all things being equal especially skill, it will be harder for smaller man to even place bigger man into scarf hold than bigger to smaller man. And Bigger man can just as easily control smaller man once in scarf hold.

Diet Rogan embarrassing himself in Brazil was pretty funny. Both guys came off like bro douchbags, TBH.

Yeah I used to watch human weapon back in the day. Haven't thought of that show in years. I liked the little technique breakdowns.
