Anyone Notice UFC rarely can make stars ?

I am not a Dana fan, far from it, but he has done more than how you painted him.

Maybe he has or not but I just get sick of him. He's basically some professional wrestling heel authority character.

All there stars are stars from other orgs. Funny how Dana will crap on other orgs talent and when he buys them they are headliners, main eventers automatically when they enter the UFC

Only thing they can do well is have TUF seasons to get some of the characters a following

UFC needs to buy another org so that can stop putting together these cards with no names constantly

You know that Benson Henderson and Pettis weren't even signed to the WEC until after Zuffa bought it. Those guys were built by Zuffa. Didn't even bother to fact check how many of the others were built by Zuffa since your post sucks so much.

The UFC hasn't made any big stars lately. In fact, some of the biggest stars they had are inactive. Some that I can think of are GSP, BJ Penn, Anderson Silva, etc. Some are active but are on the way out or are getting older and probably will not fight for a long time. Examples are Shogun, Machida, and Dan Henderson. The names that I have mentioned are recognizable to quite a few people. They haven't done a good job marketing the newer fighters and need to work on that. People want to watch big names as bad as that sounds.

Jones went from living in his grilfriend's house to a multimillionaire. Has it dawned on any of you that he is not interested in playing the UFC's game? He takes his money and keeps it moving. I think he's fine with that. He is not interested in being a lap dog for Dana White. Who could blame him. Some of you have what appears to be a pathological need to hate this guy.

Who said he had to be Dana's lapdog? That doesn't effect his PPV numbers.

The reality is outside of Rashad and Rampage he's never sold big.

In a sea of stupid sherdog threads, this is the stupidest. Every fighter has to develop, and make a name somewhere else, before UFC notices him or her. Unless the OP is silly enough to think UFC grows fighters in a cabbage patch. None of these fighters become stars until they do something in UFC.

Plus there are too many fighters, too many cards. And yet, nobody is fighting... Nobody can distinguish themselves.

Too many fighters in too many divisions now. Not to mention all of the point fighting now.

Sounds like two people didn't watch the last two amazing cards. And just like to talk and whine about MMA instead of watching it.
