Anyone giving TJ a shot at winning.

He's less than a 2-1 underdog. In MMA that's barely an edge.

Still. I'd take Sandhagen. But he's far from a heavy favorite in Vegas.

I don't think he will win but I do give him a chance. Really hard to predict considering how long it has been since he has been in the cage.

Everyone has a chance at this level.

But he's coming off a two year suspension with no more epo, and he has to fight sanhagen which means he needs to get inside, grapple on and off.

Theres no fucking way I'm picking tj, but I've been stupid wrong before.

Yeah, absolutely. War TJ is in my heart.

As I've said before. Totally fine with Sandhagen winning. I just want a really good fight

He’s too old for the division, off the PEDs (mental disadvantage), and facing a guy who has too much size, speed, youth on him

TJ gets KOd inside 2. Bad bet. Odds should be much worse, his name value keeping it up

Exactly how I feel about it, though I will be rooting for TJ because I really like the way he fights overall.

no hate to tj but I do not rate his kicking game at all,if it stays on the feet his getting koed

I despise Dillashaw and always root against him, but I'm never counting him out.
I think he wins this, might even bet a tiny insignificant amount on him just because of the good odds they give him.

He's an outstanding grappler.

i am

if he's close to his usual self, hes great at mixing in his takedowns. hes very good at hiding them and going under the strikes of his opponents.

dont know much about sandhagens TDD, but typically lankier, tall and skinny guys are easier to takedown than a shorter guy with thicker legs and a strong base. if TJ mixes in his wrestling well, i can see him winning a decision. he said in an interview tho hes definitely stopping cory

Maybe the layoff is good for his body after getting knocked out in his last fight. He was looking very TST recently

Jesus, look at his feet, what shoe size is he like a 5?

TJ’s one of the best to ever do it. The intangibles (time off/age) give me pause, but hoping he returns to form tomorrow. Also a fan of Sandman.
Most exciting matchup in a while for me

trust me, Dillashaw is winning this contest.

This is a weird fight for me.. TJ was really good.. popped for juice and had 2 years off... Is he going to come back even close to his former self..Pre-suspension TJ beats Sandhagen IMO.. Not sure about now.
Tj can wrestle. Cory can't. It'd be dumb not to give tj a chance.

ALJO convinced me last June that Sandhagen is not ready to compete with the current elite in the division. Wins over Edgar and Moraes have not really changed my mind on that. T.J.'s competitive drive is one of the primary reasons he is an intolerable asshole, but it's also the reason I think he comes back in Championship form. I see Sandhagen getting completely outclassed for the 2nd time in his last 4 fights.

TJ is one of the most well rounded fighters in history, such a shame we missed out on 2 (possibly prime) years of his career.

Only if TJ stays on the inside and grapples, wrestles, establishes some ground and pound or that Sandhagen is injured. Otherwise I see Sandhagen picking him apart early, at range.

Yes. He has a decent shot. Letting his kicks go and mixing his wrestling in is the answer here.

I dont know why anyone wouldn't. Say what you want about the guy. He's still arguably the best striker ever in the division, and coming out looking like Skelator vs Cejudo wasn't a good decision in my book. Cutting an additional 10 pounds when you're in those low weight classes is like an additional 7%. He's still a beast at bantamweight.
Ok that’s very arguable. But I agree he’s one of the best in the divisions history and being discounted here.
