Anyone else rooting against Ngannou just because he's being backed by the UFC ?

It's nothing personal, but whenever the UFC (and Dana) really start getting behind a fighter I can't help but root against them (Sage, Paige, Calvillo etc).

Stipe is a 2x defending champ. Why is Ngannou getting more promotion?

Every time the UFC starts backing a fighter like this I want to see them get flatlined.

Nothing personal, I just want the UFCs hype machine to blow up in their face for picking favorites.

Not only that, but they also shoot themselves in the foot by constantly promoting unproven fighters like Sage, Paige and Cynthia who most likely won't reach the elite level when they already have plenty of elite fighters that they don't put that promotion into.

Remember after his debut they were calling Sage the next GSP smh.

That is a very bad attitude to have. LOL

There is absolutely zero reason to root against either fighter. It is better to hope that both fighters train and perform to their optimal level, and we get a competitive and entertaining contest.

Why do you need hate to enjoy life? Makes no sense to me. LOL

Logic and science can cure that dangerous way of thinking.

They also push the wrong fighters 7 out of 10 times, they'd rather push Sage Northcutt over Max Holloway for example.

Underdog and the promotion is seemingly behind his opponent. Hard not to root for Stipe here imo.

Complain about "superfights", while always asking for super-fights.
