Anyone else hate Youtube "shorts?"

Half the entertainment for a Youtube video is the comments and it's also nice to see the number of views and description

Youtube really pushes the Shorts, which a lot of them hide the comments, description and views. I have to do some work in order to view them. It's a pain in the ass and I don't know why they're doing this as they're not TikTok.

AI and shorts are ruining youtube tho. 98% of AI documentaries are completely false info and shorts contribute literally nothing other than some small dopamine in your brain or something.

Many of them literally still have the tiktok watermark.

Yes because for some reason you cannot access the controls like to get rid of the overlay so you can actually see the video's text, etc. that's being covered by the overlay.

So much this. This is why it‘s best to scale down on most things and focus on stuff that actually isn‘t going in the shitter like combat sports, books, spending time in nature, and of course, above all, family and loved ones.
