Youtube Shorts are a great way to find new channels that you might enjoy, I found The Why Files and Moses The Jeweler that way, they get no grief from ole Pete

The shorts are pretty good for for DIY stuff. They cut to the chase and I don't have to fast forward or sit through an intro and fluff to get to what I'm after.

Not sure if they still do, but iirc, they used to pay people more for how long viewers watched, so people were adding long intros and rambling.

If I wanted to watch tiktok then I'd go to tiktok. I came here because I wanted YouTube.

And they're super obnoxious with that auto play bullshit that suddenly was activated one day, and I had to spend time finding the option on the settings to turn it off.

I will say regular YouTube has gotten annoying too since they started incentivizing 10-minute videos. Now everyone who has 45 seconds worth of info makes sure they stretch it out for 10 minutes like I did to your mom's asshole last night.

They need to stop incentivizing videos to be short or long. Just let the creators make them however long they need to be for the info they're sharing.
