Social Anyone else figure out how to eat less to lose weight without feeling bad?

well you lack discipline. the stomach is not really meant to be filled. It's just that you conditioned it to think it is necessary. You should take the effort to invest in fresh, truly farmer fresh, products and you will learn quite quickly that it isn't the amount you eat it's the nutrient absorption that makes a difference. I'm not saying just eat supplements but the kick you are missing is lost in processed foods.

I want to lose a few lbs. and keep it off. For exercise these days I just walk daily 30-60 min. My problem is when I don't eat to get full, I feel like hell. If I don't feel full at night I'll wake up starving (I usually eat a yogurt in the morning) and then if I don't eat a lunch by noon or 1 PM I feel like I have zero energy and am not myself. Anyone here successfully overcome this? In my 20s and early 30s it was easy, I worked out hardcore and did weight watchers and I was a lean 205. Now that I'm older it seems much harder to find the right eating habits combined with walking.
For me, it's intermittent fasting, keto, and/or low carb dieting.

I feel a need to eat more at night, but not in the morning. So I delay my first meal, which lower calories.

On a keto or low carb diet, I'm not normally hungry. On a carb diet, I'm always hungry.

Lost 10 pounds a year for the past six years. Have not gained it back.

But, the biggest take away, is that you need to figure out what works for you.

I haven't read everything, but eat how you're eating right now for a few weeks and count all your calories. Then after a few weeks you'll have a base of where you're at.

Reduce that amount by 100, 200 for the two weeks and stay strict within that range.

After awhile you'll get to the point where you feel hungry. Stay at those calories and start switching out some of the crap you eat, to more healthy options, and lots of protein. Stay consistent with counting and the weight will come off, stay consistent with eating more protein and the cravings go away.

Lift weights and get in a bunch of steps in (walk or jog hills if you're short on time) and that will help things a ton.

1 mL testosterone cypionate once a week and all your problems will be solved 😁

chicken breast, vegetables and rice
with the toshiki squat routine ( 5x5 @ 75 - 85% followed immediately by 3x10 @ 50% 5 days a week)
you will lose weight … or get horribly injured / die
but you will look great

Go to the doctor. You might have diabetes or something. Losing weight is a pretty simple algorithm. If it's proving to be impossible and you're doing the right things, it could be a medical issue.
We're all doctors and lawyers here mate. He's come to the right place.

Just using will power to refrain from snacking at night would probably get some results.

I used to keep a jar of Oreos or some cookies or chips for late night snacking, but not anymore.

Intermittent fasting here as well.

Been doing it for over a decade and it's a godsend. Start with 16-8 and try to stretch it out. Some days I do around 21-3.

I'm in my 40s and still got abs. And I'm not one of those naturally skinny dudes either.

I’ve been practicing long term fasting. Usually you’ll feel like hell after the first day or two, but that usually passes. I went 7 days without eating anything a few weeks ago. It seems like the body will get used to it after a while. Amino acids seem to help.
