More than half his lines are verbatim taken from random Twitter posts. He comes off better than Colby because he seems less obviously rehearsed and doesn’t stutter halfway through.

But nothing he says is remotely unique.

I get the business angle though, the UFC has given up trying to promote anyone, so you've got to do what you've got to do.

His fights are typically boring as fuck so he knows he has to talk hard to get attention and it works so I really don't blame him. He actually finished a fight tonight which is beyond embarrassing for that fluffy dude bc again Sean literally can't finish a sandwich.

I generally like Strickland, as I find him at times endearingly genuine. AT TIMES. At other times (more and more lately), he comes off as super insecure, attention-starved, and like an adult edge-lord man-child.

Props to him for being a good sportsman after a great win and giving Fluffy props and burying the hatchet though.

But to get to the OP: OH HELL NO. He's horrible on the mic. (lol see his awkward never-ending appraisal, though well-intentioned, of Fluffy after the fight, or . . . .pretty much any interview. It's like he never left high school!). I think people are conflating the fact that he's occasionally funny with being good on the mic. Also, people's brand of humor, it would appear, is 14-year-old-retard-level, so that probably has something to do with it.

For comparison, Conman and Chael, neither of which I ever liked, were GREAT on the mic and would laugh circles around Sean.
