If you check a kick, even with shin pads and your knee connects with a foot, that can easily damage/break it.

I am not saying its smart, but could have happened.

Just a theory, I don't know if that happened, but if you throw a low kick and someone checks and foot connects with knee, nothing good comes from that.

Really is. At the end I had to have surgery, they cut base of both nails so they never grow on side again. Now I have....Happy Feet zing
