Mine is tight enough that if I pop it hard with my right hand, I can knock it about 2 feet from its starting position. I've worked out on much tighter bags, but I'm just getting back into the swing of things, so a looser (and therefore slower) double end bag is what I need right now.
I always work in at least 2 rounds with it. A good tip my coach taught me, is even if you miss the bag keep punching. . .really good for balance. You gotta get used to missing your target & reacting appropriatly.
