Anybody watching Tulsa King?

I remember thinking the 1st season was decent. Started watching the 2nd and I don't feel like the show takes itself seriously enough. There's just too much goofy stuff that isn't even funny and I think the show would be better with a more serious tone. Not sure why I liked season 1 better since I recall it being similar.

Hmmmm yeah I watched the first 2 episodes and I'm feeling the same.

I like Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923. Besides Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown was kind of boring and Lioness (at least the start) was godawful. They cast some scrawny girl who was like a waitress or something and turned her into some kind of superhero who can overpower and beat the crap out of special forces like nothing with minimal training. I couldn't believe he made a show like this. Some of his shows are top tier, but I'm not sure how they all get good ratings since I find him pretty hit or miss.
 
The Lioness girl was titty dancer/cross country runner. I think she was like Steve Rogers, never quit attitude, so that's why she endured and became capable fighter. I assume they just omitted the fighting training scenes.

Almost watched mayor of Kingston though didn't know he did that. Guess I will put it on the back burner haha
 
I want to watch it but I dont want to add another streaming service if it ever ends up on tubi or amazon prime ill watch it. I already have like 100 shows on my waitlist for Amazon prime alone

Show probably isn't for everyone, pretty despicable characters all around.

Even the main character? Interesting. I like when bad guys at least have some relatable/redeeming characteristics. Will let you know.

He's shady as fuck, but I love the character.

He's one of those guys who is a shade of grey but incredibly easy to support.

That's the kind I like. Supranos type flawed characters but you support them with those. Awesome.
