stopped watching after 3 episodes when the hot chick took out the russian mob guys security team with kung fu.....I hate stupid shit like that.
 
The "bar"/barn is about a block from my BJJ school, apparently my instructor had one of the guys on the show in for a private lesson last season.

Great show imo.

Meh it's entertaining but I certainly would not put it on my list of best shows currently on TV. IMO I'll take House of Cards, Justified, Game of Thrones and True Detective over Banshee.

I watched first 3 episodes as well after reading great reviews here but I was sorely disappointed. The acting was pretty meh overall from most of the characters and dialogues were forced, just couldn't get into it.
 
Banshee still goin strong. still loving this show. really enjoying the direction the show has been going in. not to mention it has some of the best action scenes on tv today.
 
So what are we to assume happens with Emmett? His poor wife, not only has she had the shit kicked out of her and suffered a miscarriage but she's lost the love of her life now. The human meat grinder cracked me up.

Just finished season one and I loved it. (8.5/10)
 
Storyline and writing can be sloppy at times but it is pretty original. Action sequences and cinematography are pretty good - I really liked the overhead view of the scene in the field at the abandoned farmhouse a few episodes ago.

I'm not a huge fan of Antony Starr, but I like the rest of the cast. I just realized last week that Lili Simmons is the girl from the bunny ranch in True Detective. She and Trieste Kelly Dunn make the show worth watching on their own.

I have to say surprisingly good for a Cinemax show. Originally it was supposed to air on HBO but they decided to air it on Cinemax instead.

Damn what a great episode. Great season. Banshee gets no love on Sherdog!!
 
Killing Emmett I can understand, the wife was overkill.

Good episode overall.
