Anybody watch Banshee?

What is the premise of this show again? They are in Amish Country PA right? That is very close to Philly. Is this basically a crime/action show about a guy who is on the run from guys in Philly?

Solid finale. Excited the massive Native guy is coming back.

The show is uneven at times - moreso the first season than this one - but I really have to give them props for originality. Really diverse and unique set of characters / villains they've written into the story. Eastern European gangsters? Check. Drag queen tech wizard / badass? Sure. Amish mafia? Why not? Native American gang? May as well. Neo Nazis? Wouldn't be complete without them.

A couple months ago before I started watching the show, I would have died laughing if someone told me a good show would be made with those elements.

currently watching what im guessing is the finale right now. heard about this show on teh dawg and ive loved every second of it. one of the best "dont think to hard, just drink and relax" shows currently on tv

Edit: so i will be trying to watch this episode for a third time now. my power keeps going out every time i get a couple minutes into the show. it seems higher forces are at work in getting me to not see this episode. a little creepy though. i always hate the moment when the power goes out and comes back on. i always expect to see some sort of scary face somewhere when the lights come back on. damn u imagination

Anybody catch that Todd Duffee was the guy who was fighting the huge Native American guy at the end of the last episode.

I knew he was from the UFC but I couldn't think of who it was.

I'd say that the last two episodes of the season were ridiculous but then again the entire show is ridiculous which is why it's so good. I thought the part where Hood charged the gunmen in the church with only a knife was pretty funny and probably the show poking fun at itself.

Just started this weekend downloading the episodes on demand and its pretty fuckin crazy kinda like Justified on steroids...

Season 2 finished last Friday before last, I'm really missing it already. I'm a bit behind Justified so I need to catch up with that to get my redneck cop show fix.

It's pretty good. I was quite surprised.

I was really sad about Emmett, the look on his face :(

I LOVED season 1. Canceled Max because Banshee was the only thing I watched on it, so I missed season 2. But I'll definitely get caught up soon & resume viewing one way or another.

BANSHEE Season 3 Trailer: The Bloodshed Has Only Just Begun

The gorgeously filmed Banshee excised many demons last year, including the end of the Rabbit Saga. According to its Season 3 trailer, though, the bloodshed has only begun. At the conclusion of its second season, Banshee closed the door on Rabbit (Ben Cross) in spectacular shoot-out fashion. It also put Lucas and Anastasia (Ivana Millicevic) back on a path to new and different kind of relationship/alliance. Lucas

BANSHEE season 3 episode 3

Holy fucking shit! That fight between Nola and Matthew was the most bad-ass fight scene I've seen on TV in recent memory. Great action-packed episode overall.

It's too bad Odette Annable had to die but I guess they had to kill her off since she has her own TV show coming out in 2015. Plus, I think the show didn't know what to do with her storyline. But what a way to go.

I've always known that newbie Native American cop would die. Now that he's killed the brother of the tribe chief, he's good as dead.

The show is pure madness. Unrealistic ally as a bitch but entertaining shit. Season 3 has no chill at all!!!

When Burton takes his glasses off, shit's about to go down

I tried to watch this show after reading this thread but couldn't get into it and stopped after like 4-5 episodes. It seems like people love it from this thread but I thought the acting was quite bland.

I just got into it. I finished the last 2 seasons 2 wks ago. I like it and now I'm on Sea. 3. So far it's getting pretty good.

Sugars "bar" and that barnloft where hood lives are within walking distance of my BJJ school here in charlotte. they remove the stairs to the loft when they're not in season because I think people were breaking in there.

I love the show, although we cancelled cinemax so I have to wait a few days to watch it on popcorn time.

That fight scene between nola and burton was probably one of the best fights scenes on any tv show eve.
