Anybody else getting sick of Tristan Critchfield?

I'm with TS here, shotty journalism. Fightline seems to have a lot of grammar mistakes as well in their articles/titles.

Didn't realize both articles were written by the same author. I'm not inclined to believe everything or even most things I read on the internet so I always expect inaccuracies or mistakes so I don't have a problem with it.

Haven't been a fan of his articles. But he doesn't stand out as terribly bad among MMA journalists. Most are pretty hurtin' when it comes to writing ability.

And ideas for articles.

Honestly, how many "top ten lists" do we need to see rehashed to keep the article quota up?

So you don't expect truth or accuracy in journalism? Because it's on the internet?

If those were my standards, I would avoid the news entirely and just read fiction.

Lesnar WAS a might have been. Who are you kidding? He COULD have started MMA at a younger age and had more success. He COULD have not gotten diverticulitis and had his MMA career cut short.

Either of those two things make his a "Might Have Been" case. Defending a title 2 times while fighting intestine destruction is a good accomplishment. What MIGHT HAVE BEEN the case if he hadnt gotten diverticulitis? Might he have shown his greatness? Weakness to strikers? Overcome all and had a long title run?

Did he beat you up and took your lunch money or your girlfriend?

Seriously, you need to relax.
I must ask you: If you don't like what he writes, why the F*** do you read his articles? just to bitch and moan later??
Get a life and grow a pair!

If you are so much better, why don't you apply for his job? You not only free the word of his articles, you'll be able to post whatever YOU like and have people like YOU crying and bitching about how much YOU don't know about everything!

Sounds like you're the one that needs to relax. Seriously.

If you are going to complain about grammar, you should use spellcheck. People that live in shoddy glass houses...

I go to mma junkie for my news, this place for the forum. Sherdog's articles are garbage a lot of the time.

He's probably the mma writer (won't even call him journalist) that I find myself disagreeing the most... Not that I actually come to Sherdog for the articles, the forum and radio shows are where it's at.

Honestely, I'm way more tired of the fact that every Sherdog article, for some reason, has to be 500 words or longer despite the fact that all the content could probably fit into a couple of paragraphs, as evidenced by the UG.

Hard to be sick of someone I don't know and have never heard of.

A mistake is when you watch the fight and mis-tally.

There is no possibly way Tritchfield counted the submission attempts in Brandao/Elkins and thought he attempted 0.

There are innocent mistakes and negligent ones.

According to official statistics Brandao did not attempt a submission in the fight. Instead of shitting on the guy and calling him negligent, shit on the way the statistics are gathered.

Dick.

I think its pretty common knowledge that Sherdog writers arent that good.

Brock is a huge could have been what the fuck are you talking about?

The fact that the official statistics are wrong does not absolve him.

99% of the MMA community doesn't even know what the fuck a submission attempt is.
