Any hunters on Sherdog?

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_a_black_bear_an_omnivore

Well, that settles it. Black bears are omnivores, looks like they only consume 15-20% of their diet from animals, and the rest is berries and roots. That biomagnification scare is no longer a problem and JonKunDo supports eating blackbears because they are not carnivores anymore (actually never were) ;)

I greased a Coyote from 390 yds with an AR-10 yesterday. Fun hunting.

Zookeeper Gabe already said that the birds people eat (inc. Chickens) aren't carnivores, so if you just wanna ignore the fact I don't know what to tell you man.

"Free range" chickens that yuppies like to eat often fight each other. When one is injured the other chickens turn on it and often kill and eat it. Same with turkeys. That's why most chicken operations raise the birds in individual cages.

Mad cow disease was likely caused by feeding the brains and bone meal from cattle slaughtering operations to cows.

I cant belive a Brit spelled the word civilized correctly.

You guys butchered the american language, and forgot how the use the Z

haha, you'd be amazed how many people use the Americani(s/z)ed spellings of everything. Soon your destruction of world culture will be complete ;]

If they're hunting to eat what they kill etc then I've no problem with that. I said that on the fist page broseph. In fact, I positively encourage Sherdoggers to hunt them so long as they do it Aleks style :D

You must be very brave.

Yeah exactly, you shouldn't eat that shit if you can help it.

I don't even know anybody who eats puffin. You can't even hunt them up here, maybe subsistence hunts for the natives.

They are protected here as well, I believe it's Greenland or Iceland where they hunt them. I can't remember and am to lazy to look it up. I saw it on Andrew Zimmermans show and the meat looked tasty, very very red.

I would much rather get free range chicken than something confined to a small ass cage, I've seen bantam chickens kill an eviscerate mice and eat the unborn babies inside. I've snatched a snake from the beak of a large chicken in Honduras (granted I should have checked species before grabbing it but I wanted to save it). Plus the mad cow wasn't like the cows were eating large chunks of other cow it was ground up in their meal.

big hunter here im a meat hunter though not a trophy hunter have killed 5 feral hogs this year and a few does me and the wife eat wild game 3-5 times a week its alot of fun and a great way to bond with family and friends
