Crime Antifa gets cancelled

that's one thing, we are talking about putting them under accusation for terrorism as part of antifa.
Which gets messy when they deliberately intermingle into your protest. But that's kind of assuming antifa are terrorists, which I'm not going to think or concede

this doesn't amount to much when trying to make solid connections to a case of "terrorism".
Point being the flimsyness of the "connections" is the issue itself. Labeling "Antifa", which will end up meaning who knows what, as a terrorist organization is threadbare as is. But i've deliberately seen these people mix themselves into peaceful protests in order to disrupt them, and what I haven't seen is law enforcement give two shits who gets swept up in the net. So if we're already operating on the nebulous categorizations, forgive me for not holding my breath.

that part is true. a terrorism mandate for antifa needs a solid background research, that goes from membership, to network, to financing, etc. it simply can't work as a vague denominator, even though, given the glorious years of the war on terror, you're a terrorist if you get blown up by a drone strike.

authoritarianism, by whoever is employing it, is unacceptable. we're weeks away in europe from having all our private messages scanned and most likely kept by the government, and people still act like we're living in a democracy. we're not. 500 million people that will have their right to privacy completely dismissed, even though the inviolability of correspondence is formally enshrined in numerous constitutions.

Reasonable post

This is the entire point. MAGAtards know "Antifa" is not a central organization. This is just a broad application to crush dissent. Straight out of the playbook. Now you're a terrorist if you're against fascism openly.
You can make that same point for many gangs though. Many operate as autonomous parts.

And if a white supremacist hate group calls themselves 'cat lovers' and starts murdering people you wouldn't say, is it illegal to love cats now either. You should judge them by their actions, not their name.

I just renamed my kitten drowning club - the institute for feline affairs. looking forward to be quoted as a neutral source on bbc

Took long enough. Take out those funding these groups and you'll be left with a bunch of Redditors and Discord mods who'd rather stay in bed if they aren't getting paid.

I dont think this will actually get to that point. There is literally only one thing saving us and that's the fact that the Epstein situation is just not going away. A lot of pundits I follow stated that when Trump came into power again, he would likely accelerate the authoritarianism if the sh*t hit the fan about that, and it has. And it KEEPS hitting it no matter how many times he's tried to bury it, or how many times the f*ckin Republicans have voted against unsealing the files. I honestly believe his actions on these issues are just an attempt to launder his image, but it's not going to work the way they want. And if he croaks, JD will take power and become one of the most uncharismatic, unconvincing fascists in History, whose reign wont last that long.
I think he will fuck the economy so badly that his support will shrink to just the cult base, he will cause a lot of damage first though..

I mean that's exactly what they are and should be treated as, but I still think it'll be tough - I guess follow the money, find out who is funding them and target them rather than the Antifa losers themselves. However, those arrested should have the book thrown at them when caught.

The bozos at Portland are going to be so bored now, stuck in their mommy's basement with nothing to do.

As I have said - I have nothing but contempt for ANTIFA vermin but I disagree that they are „terrorists“.

They are politically-motivated rioters, looters and agitators but they are not terrorists. But it‘s just like „Nazis“, „Extreme Right“ or „racists“, words don‘t mean shit anymore.

And yes, it‘s absolutely the progressive side that started this.
