You do realize there hasn't been a draft in years right? Tim wasn't drafted or at risk of being drafted. Also, fighting for our country? You think a lot of the bullshit we started in the Middle East was "fighting for our country"? Captain bonespurs, Ted Nugent..those are some real draft dodgers.

I think he made that comment with the goal of picking out and mocking a very specific person as you mentioned
 
This is a guy that literally staged a home invasion at his own house to try and sell his home security system.

John McPhee told a story where a bunch of guys got sick of Tim's attitude and they all lined up to fight him one by one one after the other. He said that Tim initially did well but eventually he got tired and they started whooping his ass. And there was no stopping. He had to fight the all the guys. He said Tim's attitude permanently changed for the better after that.

You sure you're not mixing up Kennedy with the American sniper guy?

Task Force Bruiser had a lot of allegations of doing bad stuff like killing civilians. The Marines complained to the seals that Marines are the ones that deal with the blow back of the fucked up things the seals were doing to the population because it was the Marines patrolling the streets and were victims of sniper attacks, IEDs and ambushes not the seals.

So David goggins originally got hate because people accused him of doing nothing in the teams. He never talked about combat or any deployments.
Goggins said he did go on deployments and that he wants to relate to the people he's trying to help and talking about combat things would just alienate him from his audience since almost none of them have ever been in the military let alone seen combat. He was underplaying his military career.
His detractors took that as he never deployed or seen combat but goggins finally addressed them and proved that he had to been deployed twice. Once to Iraq and once to the Philippines and saw combat on both tours.
Goggins did the opposite of the others you named who exaggerated and played up their military careers.

Don't get me started on Marcus lattrel the lone survivor. That SOB and NSW make fucking sick. The rewarded that bastard with praise, fame and money for being a coward and leaving his team behind and never firing his gun. He was found with all his ammo. He deserved a firing squad not a movie.

This was 1000% a slight towards that unpatriotic draft dodging bitch captain bone spurs. It’s hilarious people put his staged “fight fight fight” photo up like it’s a sign of patriotic heroism but don’t realize he had that chance and ran like a bitch coward. When my father was drafted, he did like a real man should and enlisted as a marine. Nearly died in Nam, to now see that draft dodging bitch in top office is a sad sight. But yeah keep thinking he’s going to save your grocery bill.

I haven't heard the story about him shooting kids but id assume they were suicide bombers. If so then he really had no choice but to put his team ahead of these kids and save their lives.
 
All these special forces guys are shit heads and just lie all the time. SEALS are the worst. More and more people come out all the time talking shit on Jock Willink and Chris Kyle saying how they just made the job of the regular troops in Iraq that much harder because of the shit they’d pull in Task Force Bruiser.
 
There’s also some conspiracies about Jocko covering up or commiting a murder on a fellow seal.

There is too many people involved to make that story up.

Some people died on that mission when one of the copters crashed.

Even the guys who were on the operation who have conflicting accounts generally agree on 90% of what happened.

If it was a completley fake operation, these people (who were anonymous at first) who were there would have no reasons to reveal themselves years later and potentially poke holes in their own story.
