Media Anthony Smith Refuses Handshake with Johnny Walker

Anthony "Jon Jones isn't that Good" Smith vs Johnny "The Man to Beat Jon Jones" Walker.

Why did Smith refuse the handshake?

Did Walker do anything disrespectful before?

Smith has been publicly shit talking Walker for years taking little shots at him in the media here and there. The ones that really stuck out to me a few years back were when he said something to the effect of he was offended that the UFC had offered him Johnny as an opponent because he is better than that.

It was in the context of Anthony talking about how he had never turned down an opponent, except Johnny, something like that.

lol Walker's reaction is pretty funny. Hard to not like the guy, regardless of his hype train derailment

Before he went to SBG he fought like a mad man and was pure entertainment both in and outside the cage.

The violence has been tempered to a degree, but he’s still a loveable goof outside the cage.

Did the man not give himself a reverse handshake after Smith gave him the cold shoulder?

Smith is very hormonal and isn't afraid to have a whinge in public. He has this misconception he isn't shown the respect he's due, but the reality is everybody remembers him as that guy who got his teeth knocked out by Glover and the guy that's always moaning, win or lose. Only he can change that narrative.

Damn bad look for Smith.
Does Bisbing finally drop him if there is an epic KO?

Can't wait for Smith to get BTFO then proceed to explain how Walker actually isn't that great of a fighter.

Fuck Smith

Smith obviously has serious hair envy.

Hopefully Smith gets knocked out, he has been very disrespectful to Walker for no reason in the past and has delusions of grandeur.

Smith seems to think he is a great fighter and intelligent when he is average and dumb. Some of his takes are Rogan level bad, I was listening to Bispings podcast the other week and he contradicted himself on different takes within the same episode.

Dana has his thumb on Smith's nipple. Bald man thing I suppose.

Smith is just salty at this point in his career, he feels like he deserves to have been a champ or ex-champ by now and is annoyed he has to keep fighting these younger guys and gatekeeping the division. Here's some advice for Anthony Smith if he's reading this: if you're in a fight with Jon Jones and you are illegally knee'd in the head, and have the ability to win the title by taking a DQ, you take the DQ and the belt.

Yeah you would've gotten shit on for a while like Aljo was, but it worked out in the end for Aljo because he went on to win fights and keep the belt and redeemed himself, made a lot of money in the process. Instead of that, now you'll always live with that "what if?" thought in the back of your head. Always be that guy who could've taken the belt from Jones and chose not to out of some misplaced sense of honor or something (when you know, tables turned he would've taken the belt from you 10 times out of 10). Is Honor paying the bills, or is it fighting younger men until father time catches up?

UFC would have made an immediate rematch and JJ would have ended Smith's career once for all
