Media Anthony Smith Refuses Handshake with Johnny Walker

That hair is wild, wow.

He looks like Al Adeen

Woah. Anthony was mic’d up for weigh ins and actively talking to the pre-show booth. Different.

I find it so funny how Johnny and his brother look nothing alike lol.

Smith is just salty at this point in his career, he feels like he deserves to have been a champ or ex-champ by now and is annoyed he has to keep fighting these younger guys and gatekeeping the division. Here's some advice for Anthony Smith if he's reading this: if you're in a fight with Jon Jones and you are illegally knee'd in the head, and have the ability to win the title by taking a DQ, you take the DQ and the belt.

Yeah you would've gotten shit on for a while like Aljo was, but it worked out in the end for Aljo because he went on to win fights and keep the belt and redeemed himself, made a lot of money in the process. Instead of that, now you'll always live with that "what if?" thought in the back of your head. Always be that guy who could've taken the belt from Jones and chose not to out of some misplaced sense of honor or something (when you know, tables turned he would've taken the belt from you 10 times out of 10). Is Honor paying the bills, or is it fighting younger men until father time catches up?

That's one way to look at it, but if Smith had lost a possible Jones rematch he would've been sent packing out of the UFC and would be looked at as a joke champ. Aljo at least legitimized himself as a champ in the Yan rematch & following fights, something that is very unlikely Smith would've been able to do at LHW. Smith gained a lot of respect from the UFC brass for not taking "the easy way out" and was subsequently rewarded with multiple main events & an analyst gig. So he has definitely been financially rewarded in a certain way for the decision he ultimately made, I don't think he should regret anything.
