and what is Shogun at this point?Smith is a journey man. I like his fights but there is no way he kos shogun.
I can't hate on itSmith going the Gastelum route to fame.
Smith going the Gastelum route to fame. Would love to see Shogun ko him then ride off into the sunset.
Wrong, they're both going the Brendan Schaub route; killing off legends.I can't hate on it
That would be awesome. (Anthony Smith brutally KO's Shogun).
"Legends"?? The only "legend" Schaub beat was Crocop. In that case it be can called the "Ortiz route" since the only legend (at that time) he beat was Shamrock.Wrong, they're both going the Brendan Schaub route; killing off legends.

Shogun is an active fighter so I don't feel bad for him if Anthony Smith KOs him. It isn't Anthony's fault Shogun chooses to fight still. He's still pretty highly ranked too. Why would an unranked Anthony Smith not want this fight?Wrong, they're both going the Brendan Schaub route; killing off legends.
Oh, this fight doesn't bother me at all, I love it. I'm sick man that enjoys watching fanboys react to their washed up hero getting finished brutally.Shogun is an active fighter so I don't feel bad for him if Anthony Smith KOs him. Shogun has a name and is a former champion, a highlight reel KO can get him 1 or 2 fights away from a title shot. It's on Shogun and his performance. Any reason he can't fight the loser of Teixeira/Latifi or Blachowicz and then be in line for a shot should he win that? With how Cormier and Jones are out of the division currently and Gus would probably be first in line should he win against Volkan, it's not a stretch to see Shogun fighting for a title soon in this shallow division. Unlikely given his recent performances and wear and tear on his body but not impossible. This fight doesn't do anything for Shogun.
