He looked really awful. He was slow, inaccurate and lazy. He ate enough leg kicks without attempting a check that he’s going to start his next fight with a limp. For an analyst especially, he seemed dejected and resigned to getting womped without adjustment. He was speaking so arrogantly about the skill gap between himself and Walker and yet he was just eating strikes and running headfirst into damage. Bizarre. His body is just not accepting the nonsense anymore. I recall in his fight against Volkan, he had this spirit to persevere through the danger and pain and “lionheart” seemed entirely appropriate.
