UFC is ridiculously cheap. But understandable. He probably won’t become champ again so no point in paying him more than the $8k/8k these new kids are fighting for.

I remember when he was on that Wheaties box back in the day. He was Dana’s golden boy.

Good move by Pettis, he has nothing more to prove in the UFC and saved himself some more losses

He can have more success and even make more money outside the UFC, so it makes sense

Good for him. I would love to see him against Daley & MVP in Bellator, but the PFL 155 tourney could be his for the taking. Or even the 170 tournament, maybe fight Rory at some point.

If he goes to Bellator at 155 he could fight the Pitbull brothers. Beat the worse one, then let the other come up after he wins the 145 tourney.

While he isn't the Pettis from back in the day, he still kind of found his stride again recently. I'll still watch him fight, just hoping if he's signed by Bellator that we don't get him vs Benson, fresh matchups please.

Respect to Pettis and for representing the WEC brand as well. He had a great career, and the achievement to be a UFC champion. Very few have that UFC moment in their careers. Hope he does well in his future endeavors.
