Media Anthony Joshua training for MMA?

Hilarious if PFL decide to launder more money by giving him millions for a fight.

Still closer than a boxer to MMA.

You have changed the goalpost (and Im a genius so it wont escape my radar) from "no take down defence" to which martial art is closer to mma. What happened to your original contention that Joshua cant make the transition due to a lack of wrestling skills?

Show me where I said Joshua cant transition due to lack of wrestling?
I said no boxer has TDD.Which is true.
Because boxing dynamics is different than MMA.
If it wouldnt you would have an example.

It couldnt possibly be because the money is better in Boxing.. No... What a silly concept

Most knockuts in the ufc are from punches. Boxing stance is a better stance for takedown than kickboxing. Boxing footwork is a better base for mma than no footwork at all (kickboxers have jack shit footwork).

Also Boxers nave FAR stronger chins than kickboxers due to natural selection.

If Joshua is cross-training in MMA, good for him...mocking that is just silly.

I can't imagine AJ would take a pro fight in MMA, unless someone throws a bag of cash at him and matches him up with a can (which the Saudis could very well do).

Why is he training kicks? There are better ways to work legs
Because he likes it, and is interested in getting better at it, just like everyone who takes up any martial art? This doesn't mean he has any professional intentions about it.

And, as a leg workout, It's probably a pretty good one for balance and controlling his center of gravity, as well.

Exactly, people making fun of his form when those are probably the first kicks he's ever thrown. He's a genetic beast who has more potential to exceed at MMA than absolutely every part time hobbyist here making fun of him.

He'll never actually train for and take an MMA fight however, as he's a prize fighter and the prize offered by the UFC will never match what he makes in boxing.

Im sure Joshua has some fun over this as well. I dont think he is training for MMA. Its just a goof.

Every notable boxer ever has posted footage at least once training kicks, wrestling, or something similar to make headlines on mma pages and it works every time

Yet not one has actually crossed over, means nothing
