News Anthony Johnson explains his exit from the UFC

Well he wont be getting anything close to that in Bellator

He might, who else on that roster are they paying big money for other than their champions and Fedor? They can possibly afford it with a guy who gives out KOs like candy which will equal viewers. This isn't even including potential sponsor pay as he is free from that shitty Rebook/UFC deal.

Well that's an odd way of saying I burned a hole in the piss cup.
Ahahha yeah this doesnt explain or go with what dana said earlier

There's obviously more to this story, the UFC can only get away with this for so long.

But keep letting top 10 talent leave, we'll just watch them elsewhere. This is just so dumb from the UFC, other fighters are watching and seeing how you promote and treat guys like Chandler, while at the same time fucking over your long time fighters who earned their spot.

I mean do you realize how many WW fighters got screwed by Khamzat? dude fought 2 nobodies at WW and now he's fighting a top 3 opponent lol. There's a ton of resentment from the WW division but everyone is too afraid to say anything at this particular moment. Tony loses 2 fights and now fans are questioning whether he should be cut or not, it's insane.

Nemkov, Aj Mckee, Anthony Johnson, Yoel romero, yea I think I'll be tuning into bellator and skipping that DWCS nonsense.

With Bones moving up to HW and DC retired, he had a real good shot at becoming UFC LHW champion. I mean he's on about the UFC's "younger generation", and his "time ran out"... but the LHW champion is in his late 30's, and I reckon Rumble would have KO'd him with ease.

An odd move, imo. Especially since there is no bad blood on either side. But I do wish him all the best, and I will be watching him in Bellator for sure.
No he didnt. Ain't got what it takes.

Bellator growing their roster day by day.
Rumble is 37, yes he s a monster and I loved his style but how s he gonna come back? His cardio was not gr8 to start with and he s lost focus, probably just came back for some paydays.

Romero , as much as a beast he is, is 43-44 and I agree with Dana ppl should not be fighting at that age if they want to retire healthy or semi-healthy.

As a fan of both I would have loved for them to stay but realistically, you cannot be saying they re giving away their best...they re sending away/cutting a 37 yo who has been retired for years and a 44 year old ...that s pretty normal in sports . It would be different if they were cutting guys like conor, Khabib, Odessanyah or even Marrtty who is very good but not a draw. Your argument is kinda poor I believe

Well, the roster is growing day by day. Is not like they signed Joe Schmo. You can spin it any way you want to but Yoel and Rumble are still top 10 fighters with at least 3-4 good fights in them. Anytime you add legitimate contenders, particularly popular contenders, you are growing your roster.

They want young guys who will fight for pennies from that terrible reality show.

they don’t want well paid mma veterans. They want striking battles with idiots with Mohawks.

It’s fine if this continues. It will build up mma outside of the UFC.
Guys like Dan Hardy?

Sounds like a typical PR for someone who has signed an NDA

Its all about the money. Besides, he might still have juice in him and doesn't want to jeopardize that gamble with USADA because then he would be done for in terms of fighting
He has already reentered the testing pool. Started getting tested in September. People claim he’s ducking USADA with no justification. I think it’s just money. UFC wants cheap labor. With the lack of a live gate they are really hurting.

Good for him. A lot of fun match ups awaiting for him in there and the chance to make that brand more popular.

Exactly. "Yeah, I fucked up my cycle and tested hot. Dana wanted to take the usada bribe money outta my pay; I wasn't down with that."
What do you expect him to say? It's standard public dialog. Total bullshit. There is obviously a reason that a top level fighter like him would suddenly be released and lurch off to B-league Bellator.

Crumble isnt worth the trouble. Look at how much shit got slung during the Lesnar/Hunt Debacle, and the Jones pico pulse. Im sure they just hopin ppl forget about that shit for now lol

I would love it if Manhoef or Machida could Ko him

<{smellit?}>

Only with bums cut from the elite organization.
Tbf Yoel and Crumble arent bums...but were simply seen as expendable in lieu of these cuts they got to make.

It makes sense considering how much money they lost this year with no crowds

Rumble - retired almost 4 years ago, gave back like pussy in last fight
Romero - hasn't won since almost 3 years. 1 power punch in 3 minutes. I scored for him against Adesanya but I won't miss him lol.

“Gave back like a pussy”

cowards like yourself lack testicular fortitude and reek of feminine aroma. You sit there with your dubs and bash someone that is the furthest thing from a pussy. Although I am not surprised that someone of your stature doesn’t readily identify what a pussy actually is you petulant fucking child.

What argument bro? I just stated the fact that Bellator is growing their roster everyday, nothing else... what a reach on your part lol
