Antman 9/10

Funny, suspenseful, exciting. As good as any Marvel movie ever.

The 1st half of the movie was shit and Micael Douglas should have been killed off, the 2nd half off the movie is great

I thought the movie was very good and Paul Rudd is the new Robert Downey jr. I see that Robert pretty much priced himself out of anything else beyond Captain America and the last Ironman movie so Rudd would make a good choice to take the over the suit and give his ant-man suit to another. Rudd plays an electrical engineer who understand quantum mechanics and working with the suits I see Robert getting finished in the last Ironman and Ant-man being handed the suit from Pipper.

Downey is contracted through Infinity War, I believe. His run will end there.

Which Ant-Man thread is the right one?

Ant Man: uhm, very pleasantly surpised, 8.5/10

Simple but very entertaining. Awesome special effects, quality humor, overall well acted, very cool action scenes, and it didn't take itself too seriously. Evangeline Lily is just god damned sexy even with a wig on that doesn't look good on her. Michael Douglas was very solid. Corey Stoll made a great villain with that head of his. Paul Rudd was quality and I am very curious to see how he will function as a part of The Avengers, hopefully they make him a vocal point in the movie.

Ant-Man Battles The Hulk in Coke Super Bowl Commercial

Ant-Man-Super-Bowl-Coke-Commercial-Dragonlord.jpg

Earlier this week, Coca-Cola and Marvel teased a team-up during the Super Bowl by sending out mini-cans of Coke branded with different members of the Avengers. Both sides promised not to reveal the contents of the commercial until it aired during the Super Bowl. Now that it’s aired we know that the biggest and littlest Avengers — Hulk and Ant-Man — are doing battle over the last can of Coke.

The commercial starts inside Dr. Bruce Banner’s lab where a shrunken Ant-Man runs off with the last Coke from the office fridge. Banner is not happy and and goes busting out of the building in Hulk form, chasing after Ant-Man throughout the streets trying to get his soda back. When he finally catches up to him, Hulk has such giant hands, he can’t open the can and his Avengers counterpart has to help out.

The commercial was advertising Coke’s new mini-cans, for people who don’t want to drink a full 12 ounces. While neither Mark Ruffalo nor Paul Rudd appear in the ad, it does sound like Rudd at least provided the voiceover for his character.

It’s Hulk vs. Ant-Man in the Hilarious Coke Super Bowl Commercial

Cool soda commerical.

But yeah, Ant-Man was about as painfully by-the-numbers as they come. Lol at "Disposable Marvel Villain #9." So true.

Yeah I'm late to the party but I just saw it for the first time last night. And it's great! From the talk I remember seeing on here I got the impression everybody was very "meh" about this movie. I really liked it a lot, though.

It was funny, light hearted and clever. It drags a little in the 2nd act but that entire 3rd act was awesome. When he's fighting the Yellow Jacket (who was fairly menacing) in his daugher's room and the trains were all dramatic and shit, then it zooms out and shows little toys lightly clinking on the ground, I lol'd! :D Then a toy train explodes into giantness and lands on the police car, lol.

Then the last scene with homeboy telling the story about Falcon looking for Ant-Man and everybody's acting out the way he's speaking, and he just ends the story (and the movie) with "....he said, yes." lol that was really well done and leaves the viewer with a nice happy feeling. Pretty much the complete opposite of BvS. Still got a bad taste in my mouth over that pile of hot garbage. Ant-Man was awesome though and I wanted to see what all you guys thought about it.

Also the concept of being able to shrink into the quantum realm was really cool and opens up all kinds of possibilities where physics and time are completely different. Can Ant-Man end up being a major factor against Thanos? Seems like it.

Discuss.

I like the Marvel movies.

The only ones I didn't really enjoy were the 3rd Iron Man and the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies.

I still haven't. I really wanted to see it in the theaters too because it looks like it was made for 3D. I'll shoehorn it in before Civil War with any luck,

Pretty much anything Marvel Studios puts out is awesome. I agree IM3 was probably the worst they've done, and that's not that bad. I thought it was pretty good. But I didn't read the comics so I wasn't all pissed that they changed the Mandarin character around. I actually thought that was a nice twist and possibly a Shane Black real world political commentary.

I saw it just about a month ago. I barely remember anything, so I'm going to say it wasn't amazing. Probably okay, but not amazing.

You should see it for sure. Just keep in mind that it picks up as it goes along.

Same here. Think that's the only Marvel movie I've missed. I remember before Avengers 2 came out I forced myself to watch Thor 2 and Iron Man 3. Hopefully this will be a better experience
